about Harmony Winters Jewelry

Harmony Winters Jewelry is a fine jewelry brand founded in 2006 by Harmony Winters, a Westport MA based goldsmith.

With a childhood spent on the Atlantic coast, Harmony’s work is deeply influenced by the shifting tides and weather patterns that shape both the landscape and her creative vision.

While in college for marine biology Harmony worked in a glassblowing studio and began teaching herself to make glass beads. Simultaneously she began an metal smithing apprenticeship in Boston, Massachusetts. Combining the two mediums, she developed a collection and began selling her pieces nationwide.

For ten 10 years Harmony sold her jewelry to galleries, museum stores and at art shows while developing her aesthetic and growing her skills.

In December 2016 she and her son Ryder opened a retail showroom and studio in Westport, MA. There along with her assistant and friend Kris continue to create timeless heirloom quality pieces for a loyal and growing clientele.

Because of the ocean

The Atlantic ocean is where the heart of everything I create calls home. The winter salt crystallizing on seaweed to the colors of an incoming storm reflected in the gemstones I choose.

I see jewelry as a small talisman to carry through your days, holding your story and intentions. Each piece is hand fabricated in our Westport studio and all materials are sourced as locally as possible, supporting other small businesses. All this means an incredible amount of thought and intention go into each piece of jewerly.
