Return and Exchange Policy

We want you to love your new treasures and stand behind our craftsmanship. We also understand that sometime’s it just isn’t the right fit. Rest assured, we can fix that. 

Ready To Ship Jewelry can be returned for a full refund (minus shipping) store credit or an exchange within 14 days of the ship date provided the piece is in new unworn condition with the original packaging. Any customer requested modifications such as ring resizing falls under the Made To Order Category. 

Made To Order Jewelry can be returned for a refund minus a 20% restocking fee to cover the cost of materials ordered and scheduling other clients. 

Custom Made Jewelry ie; heirloom redesigns, bespoke, or any jewelry that has been altered at the request of the customer from the original design are not eligible for exchange or refund under any circumstances unless there is a manufacturing defect. 

Worn Jewelry I understand sometimes you wear a piece for a few days and decide you’re not in love with it. This will incur up to a 20% restocking fee to cover materials and labor to return it to its new condition. HWJ reserves the right to refuse jewelry that has been damaged, heavily worn or modified. This only applies to ready to ship and made to order pieces. 

Defective Jewelry Any piece that you feel doesn’t live up to the HW Jewelry quality you expect will be repaired free of charge within 14 days of you receiving it unless it has been mistreated and damaged by it’s owner. The piece will be inspected and and assessed before any free repair is made. If it’s outside the 2 week window or there has been misuse, a fee will be incurred. Cancellations

    If you need to cancel your order please get in touch as soon as possible. hello@harmonywinters.com

    • Cancellation requests must be requested within 48 hours of order placement. We put your order into our production schedule as soon as it comes in which includes ordering metal and scheduling other clients, and arranging our work schedule to make/ship your order so any cancellation requests after 48 hours will be considered a return and all return policies will apply.
    • Custom Order deposits, rush fees, and partial payments are non-refundable. 

     

    To return or exchange an item:

    1. Email us to request a return or exchange authorization. Please include a photo and copy of your receipt if possible. Hello@harmonywinters.com
    2. Package the item securely in its original packaging, if possible. Loose jewelry in a box will become damaged in shipping and will incur a fee.

    Return and exchange shipping costs:

    • For returns, you are responsible for the cost of return shipping.
    • For exchanges, we will cover the cost of shipping the new item to you.
    • Shipping charges are non-refundable

       

      Refunds - Refunds will be issued to the original method of payment within 7-10 business days of receiving your returned item. Cash payments will be returned in check form. 

      Store Credit - Your store credit will be issued in the form of a gift card. It will never expire, and can be used towards anything on the website or in our Westport shop. Not applicable towards other artists work in the shop.

      Exchange - We will apply the full amount of your original purchase to a new purchase of equal or greater value. The new piece must be in stock at the time of the exchange (within 14 days of original purchase); credit does not apply to future purchases.

       

      Exclusions:

      The following items are not eligible for return or exchange:

      • Final sale items
      • Personalized items which includes ring resizing. 
      • Items purchased more than 14 days ago
      • Items that have been used or damaged
      • Wedding + Engagement Jewelry
      • Custom Orders
      • Gift Cards and E-Gift Cards are non-refundable and cannot be redeemed for cash. Lost or stolen gift cards and not replaceable.
